Wow, can not believe that it has been four months since I last wrote. I just get so busy with work, family, classes that this is always last on my list. I see no one is visiting so that does make it easier I suppose. I wish I had more time but I think we are all like that. So many other things take precident over blogging, scrapbooking, etc. I would love to have a whole day just to scrapbook, read, or whatever. Even when I take vacation there is a long list of things to do. I know one thing that holds me back is the disorganization of my craft room. I share the room with our computer area, which can be good as I can scrapbook and chat with my husband while he is on the internet. But lately it has become a place where I just set things on my desk and walk away. Kind of hard to feel creative in that kind of mess. So today I hope to make some sense of it all. Time to sort and separate the things I want to put in my garage sale and things I know I will really use. See I am a ...collector. Whew, there I said it. I am a craft packrat. I want it all. I don't necessarily use it all but, heh, I have it!! So this afternoon I am going to start cleaning it all out. I have soo much printed paper, buttons, brads, over a 1000 rubber and acrylic stamps, cardstock etc. You know what I mean. I know I am not the only one who is a craft packrat. Well it needs to go. I can't even see my desk for the "stuff" piled on top. Let's see if I actually follow through or if life gets in the way again and I get side tracked by something else. Best day to do it anyway as this morning there is a trace of snow on the ground. Ahhh, got to love the hint of spring with a tease of winter!!

I'm a Winner!!

Back in December I saw that EK was having this contest on How Jolee's Inspire's You!. I thought, hmm, this might be fun so I made this 'scenic' bag. There is a top inside so that you can still place a gift in the bag and give as a gift. Anyway, I worked about 3 hours on it and emailed the picture in. I had to have it in by the following Friday. Well two weeks went by and didn't hear anything so thought, oh well. No big deal. But I did win. I was one of 10 people who had their projects selected. How very cool is that? I have never won anything like this outside of when I was a CTMH Consultant. It is was so fun to make and I won some really awesome goodies!!!

Dates to Remember Tins

Well, on the off chance that eventually someone will start visiting my blog (on the assumption that it will actually be interesting someday!! GRIN) I am going to post a couple pictures (if Ican figure out how!) of the Dates to Remember tins I made for my daughter-in-laws for Christmas. I used Provo tins and Karen Foster Calendar Paper for the main parts of the tins. On the Vintage travel tin I used K & Company paper and I used a CTMH kit from a few years ago. These tins are to put in cards for birthdays and such. Hope you enjoy.

Soo new to this

This is my first time ever trying to have a blog. My goal is to post items I have made and be available for my customers to meet with outside of work.

Monday was an awesome day for me! I found out that a project I had entered into EKSuccess's How does Jolee inspire you contest had been one of 10 winners. I am so excited and can't wait to share the project with you that I made. It will be online at EK Success What's New page in January 2008. So excited! First time winning like this.
